Step-by-Step Tutorial: Summary for Website Admin
Welcome to our comprehensive tutorial on navigating the Website Admin area! If you're an iHouseweb client or a real estate agent, this guide will help you make the most of the platform. We'll walk you through the key features and sections under Website Admin, providing a clear understanding of each component. Let's get started!
This guide focuses on the Website Admin section. Other areas of the Admin Menu, such as Account, Ads Admin, and Turboleads, will be covered in separate tutorials.
To access your iHouseweb Admin Menu, scroll to the bottom of your website, click Admin Menu and log in with your credentials. This will take you to Website Admin by default.
You’ll know you’re in the Website Admin section as it is indicated by the Blue Block seen in the top-left corner of the interface. Each section will display its own corresponding color and title, in this instance Blue is used for Website Admin.
1. Dashboard
From the left side menu the first section under Website Admin is Dashboard, from Dashboard you'll find Quick Links- a short list of links to frequently used parts of the website such as
Viewing your website
Editing your website
Managing leads
Managing listings
and Writing blog posts
As well as key features including Webinars to sharpen skills, helpful Tips, and Additional services.
2. Settings
Our Second Section is Settings. If Settings is clicked it will expand to show the items under it. These items under Settings will range from Branding, Search Restrictions, Search Defaults, Visitor Registration, and more.
Branding: allows you to adjust your logo used throughout the website and set options for when its clicked
Search Restrictions: By default, your website searches will use all the possible data from your MLS but this can be restricted to just the ones desired.
Search Defaults: you can change the Default way that Searches display such as Sort Order, Results view, Road or Satellite view, and more.
Listing Display: Configure listing thumbnails and detail pages, including badges and preferred listing info.
Featured Locations: Highlight areas you specialize in that will be used for dynamic content and pages.
HouseTrack Emails: Adjust the email notification sent to clients when properties match the searches they’ve saved with new or updated listings.
Visitor Registration: Here you can adjust the settings that require your website visitors to register before viewing MLS search results or listing details
Visitor Interface: Modify the look and feel of menus for your visitors.
3. Integrations
Our next section is Integrations. This is where you can manage 3rd party integrations. Streamline your social integrations via:
Social Login: Add Facebook and Google sign-in options.
Social Suite: Integrate auto-posting to your Facebook business page.
Social Links: Add clickable social media badges to your website.
Extra Code: This provides a space to place extra code in the Header or Footer of your website when required by unique 3rd party integrations.
4. Domains
Manage your website's domain(s) here:
Add, publish, or set the primary domain.
Access advanced DNS and MX settings.
5. Blog
Everything you need to manage and grow your blog:
Posts: View, edit, or create new blog posts.
Moderate Comments: Approve or manage reader comments.
Manage Tags: Organize your posts with tags or create new ones.
Settings: Adjust global blog settings.
6. Traffic
Monitor your website's performance with traffic analytics:
Summary: Get a 30 day summary of recent website traffic.
Most Viewed Pages: See which pages your audience loves beyond just 30 days.
Listing Pages: Analyze visits to listing-specific content.
Visit Totals: Filter visits by date.
Conversions: Gain insights into registrations.
Referral Links: Track traffic driven by external referrals.
7. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Stay visible online with robust SEO tools:
Meta Tags: Add titles, descriptions, and keywords for better search engine visibility. These appear as snippets in search engine results.
Google Analytics: Link your Google Analytics account for detailed tracking.
Amp Page Settings: Manage Accelerated Mobile Page (AMP) settings to help capture mobile leads.
Quick Access Links
For convenience you'll find links to Edit website, View website, and Listings. These operate the same as quick links from the dashboard.
Files
And the last item specific to Website Admin is Files. This will take you to the File Manager for your website. Any Custom Image or File used on your website will need a place to be stored online for use by your website so that space is provided here.
