Your Custom Content Pages allow you to write text and upload pictures from your computer. Create as many custom pages as you want. Advanced users can even edit the HTML to add their own formatting, scripts, and multimedia.

This guide is designed to help website administrators and iHOUSE Clients add a custom content page to their iHouse Elite website. Follow these step-by-step instructions to create, edit, and arrange your new page in the navigation menu.

Step 1: Log into Your Admin Menu

  • From the homepage of your website navigate to the bottom and click ‘Admin Menu’ found in the footer. 

  • Log in with your Admin credentials

Step 2: Access the Website Editor

  • From the admin menu, click Edit Your Website.

  • Once in editing mode, click on Pages located in the top left.

Step 3: Create a New Custom Content Page

  • Under the first section titled ‘Standard Pages’, click Add a New Page.

  • Add a new page by selecting the type as ‘Custom Content’ found near the top.

Step 4: Set Up Your Custom Content Page

  • Title Your Page: Enter a title that will display at the top of the screen, e.g., "Our Support Team."

  • Expand Your Workspace: In the bottom right corner of the editable workspace, Click and drag the corner of the editable workspace  down. This will reveal more of the workspace if desired.

Step 5: Add Content to Your Page

  • Add an Image

    • Click the photo icon to insert an image.

    • In the image properties window, click Browse Images to select a file from your file manager.

    • Adjust the image size if needed, pressing the lock icon will lock the aspect ratio if desired, and then click OK.

  • Add Text

    • In the editable workspace, type the desired text into the body and adjust it using the controls above such as bolding or resizing.

  • Add a Hyperlink

    • Highlight the text you wish to link and press the link icon (chainlink).

    • Choose the type of link (e.g., URL, phone number, email) and follow the prompts to set it up.

    • Click OK to complete the link.

Step 6: Publish and Save Your Page

  • At the bottom of the page, check the box to ‘Publish this page’.

  • If desired, Opt to add this page as a main navigation link. If you do, give it a Navigation Link title. This will be the text that displays in the navigation menu.

  • Press ‘Save This Page’ to finalize your changes.

Step 7: Arrange Navigation Menu

  • Click on Navigation in the top left.

  • Find your new page at the bottom of the list and drag it to the desired position.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the navigation menu page and Click Finished when you're satisfied with the arrangement.

  • Review your navigation menu to ensure it is as desired.

Step 8: Review All Custom Content Pages

  • Under the ‘Pages’ tab you can find a group of all Custom Content Pages.Scroll down and locate the section titled ‘Custom Content Pages’ to view all currently created custom content pages.

  • Press ‘edit’ to the right of any page to continue making adjustments as desired or the red x to permanently delete the page. Note that a deleted page cannot be recovered so be cautious and certain before proceeding.
