Your Default settings for featured locations are used as a global backup. Settings applied here will automatically fill in for ALL Featured Locations, unless specifically overridden by adjusting settings for an individual featured location.


To access your Default settings for Featured Locations, log into your iHOUSEweb admin menu, click Settings, then click Featured Locations, finally click Default Location Settings.


Default Image

This image will be used as a fallback for any featured locations that do not specify one.


Default Page Content

This default content can optionally be used by any/all of your featured location pages. The content blocks defined here should be configured to be context aware - so that they inherit information from the location pages where they are used.


Masthead Format

Selecting "Yes" and clicking on the "Advanced..." box will open up a menu to upload a masthead image. By default, each featured location page will use it's own masthead image. ONLY set this image if you want to use the SAME image across all your featured location pages.


Page Content

This default content can optionally be used by any/all of your featured location pages. The content blocks defined here should be configured to be context aware - so that the information can be generically applied to ALL featured locations. You can find more about all types in our article on Page Content.

You can use Macros to generalize your default content for your featured locations. By inserting the '{{location.segment}}' text instead of a specific location for these links, the individual location will take the place of the macro.
